BBC Grand Canyon
4 Corner Film Logistics teamed up with The BBC and Discovery Channel to execute a 21-day expedition through the Grand Canyon, in an attempt to re-create the human experience of the first descent in 1869 by John Wesley Powell. We assembled a cast of 9 men, to navigate and sustain self-supported out of the 1869 White Hull replica boats we had built as they discovered what it was like to live without all the modern day luxuries of Grand Canyon river trips. 4 Corner Film Logistics also provided the first ever cable cam footage in the Grand Canyon offering mind-blowing angles of the rapids and the maiden voyage of "Cleopatra" our 14,400 watt solar support boat that satiated all the power needs of a full scale film production from the sun. Our cast and crew consisted of 28 people that traveled down the river with us.
