Kayaking the Grand Canyon Blind

We worked with Erik Weihenmayer, blind adventurer who has summited the highest peak in every continent to produce and organize an 18-day expedition down the Grand Canyon as he attempted to kayak the Grand Canyon blind. We provided the raft support, production team, locations, permitting, rigging, and Erik's professional kayak guide to execute this project. We also brought for the first time in the Grand Canyon, Freefly's MoVI M10 with our Custom 18-foot crane that we used on our film boats and on land, designed for use with the MoVI. We worked with Nature Valley, CNN, and HBO to provide them with 5K footage while uploading via our satellite internet terminal, edited video updates from the field. Our 14,400 watt Solar boat "Cleopatra" made the powering of this production possible.
